This popular daggerboard cruising catamaran comes to the market since only just ceasing her cruising adventures. Her husband and wife team have enjoyed fast and comfortable cruising, beginning in Europe and making the Atlantic crossing via the Cape Verde Islands into the Caribbean. Plenty of great sailing in the Grenadines and onwards into the Panama canal and a huge amount of cruising in the Pacific and ending their adventures here in Langkawi. She was always sailed with just two and was a pleasure to manage.. the sailplan particularly adaptable.
Catana build their catamarans with Twaron, an Aramid fibre, integrated into the GRP to form immensely strong yet light hulls for that extra impact resistance.
MATARIKI is an extremely self sufficient boat.. excellent solar arrays and control, generator and modern battery banks.
A recent survey report, commissioned by her owners in September 2025, is available upon request
Berthed here at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, MATARIKI is awaiting her next owners.

MATARIKI is Catana 471 #52, the owner's version, with the starboard hull dedicated as such. Full forward in that hull the bathroom is generous in size. The port hull has an office come cabin fully aft and a bathroom midships. Full forward another double cabin.
She is a galley up design and the saloon is particularly well ventilated with the three opening saloon windows. To starboard in the saloon a forward facing navigation centre has an autopilot control and repeaters from the cockpit.
Liveaboard an easy proposition with all necessary amenities including a 6 kg BEKO washing machine. The boat is equipped with airconditioning but this needs to be refurbished, has not been used for a long time. An excellent watermaker the same.
Two, JABSCO manual in port hull, an electric TECUMA in owner's hull. Holding tanks.
Two, hot and cold. The owner's bathroom is particularly spacious.
Additional charging by;
2 electric bilge pumps.
A fractional rig, all inspected in 2025. Two backstays replaced in 2025, forestay and roller furler new in 2021, mast and diamond overhaul in 2019. Recent rig report available.
Two Windex units. Two VHF antennae. Wind instrument. Anchor light.
The cat is well appointed for short handed sailing. There is a central electric winch in the cockpit handling many sheets.
